Does anyone know of a really exhausive memory test program for the Mac II? In the old, old days of 64k CP/M machines, I had a diagnostic program that ran over a dozen tests: simple parity/checksum tests, pattern read/write tests to locate interfering bits and all manner of marching patterns. Since the Mac has always been relatively memory intensive, it would seem that such testers would be common. But I have not seen any references on the net or in software catalogs. I have such a test program for my third party video board (the marching patterns are wonderful!!) but not for main memory. A local technician has an expensive set of diagnostics from Apple but couldn't come up with anything. Any suggestions? I will post a summary if warranted. Thanks, Dan dcummings@trc.amoco.com
