[comp.sys.mac.misc] Apple's "other" ftp site

hi,
  Someone from Apple mentioned a little while ago there would be this amazing
  Apple ftp site (ftp.apple.com).  He implied it would contain everything
  under the sun a developer would ever want.  It was supposed to be available 
  towards the end of August (disks were blowing up at one stage -> the first 
  delay).  It is now the end of September.  The site is there, there is a
  "dts" directory, but no anonymous access.  Any update on this?
