[comp.sys.mac.misc] No Mac in the year 2001?

From article <143400015@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu>, by wogg0743@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu:

Hey, Mac-dudes! You all should be rallying behind the Apple
II and complaining about Apple's failure to support it. Why?
Because if Apple will do what it is doing to its namesake, it
will do the same thing to the Mac in five years or so.

Indeed the day's of the Mac are numbered, and Apple is well aware of
this. If you haven't seen the Project 2000 tapes, try to get your
local user group to show a copy. This tape has the notebook sized
"Knowledge Navigator" -- with only a few cosmetic touches to suggest
that it is at all related to Apple / Mac. (A little apple in the top
left, a menu bar -- but no mouse or keyboard to activate these !)

Get ready for the days of the 100 Mips notebook.
