Hi Folks, I seem to have encountered a funny problem - I also seem to recall reading about this on the net about a year ago. Any help is much appreciated - please email and I'll summarize to the net. I copied a whole slew of documents from one Mac to another - using public folder across an Appletalk net. After copying, many of the documents no longer indicated what type of document they were, rather they showed up as simply "document". Two particularly funny aspects: - this happened on both the desitination and SOURCE machines - the proper icons still showed up - the problem was only apparant in a list window Thanks for your help.
