I have SoftPC and I am wondering if Ulitma 6 for the I*M works under this
emulator. (work's so I can play it that is) Or should I just wait for
Origin to get a mac version out. I am using a IIci with a RGB monitor.

I am using a IIci with a RGB monitor. I have tried Ultima VI on a the standard XT/CGA version of SoftPC and it is completely unplayable. Even simply walking around in the castle is too slow to consider playing. (This is not a strike against SoftPC, it is certainly doing all it can, I have heard similar complaints from IBM XT owners) Perhaps the enhanced SoftPC would be better, my friend's 286 is quite responsive playing the game. I have heard no plans for Origin to port the game to the mac :-( (but if one looks at the fine print on the game box, in addition to all of the trademarks and copyrights, it lists Macintosh and Apple are trademanrks of Apple computer.... ) WiLLiam Moss
