----- In MacWeek last week it's mentioned that Apple is spending big bucks on a TV campaign to push the new Macs. I saw one of those ads on TV today. It had a black (business?) teacher/professor talking to his students about information technology, enabling the individual, etc. Intercut with this were short cuts of the the Classic, LC and IIsi. It was a good, powerful spot. Seemed better done and more moving than some of the business-oriented Mac commercials of late, and it was certainly far better than the HeloCar ads (but what isn't? :->). Here I had been waiting more or less patiently for the announcement tomorrow, and Apple comes along, shows us pictures of the things, & gives NO DETAILS! Talk about frustrating. Admittedly a good ad for people who haven't been waiting eagerly for this announcement. (i.e., most of the population) | Francis Stracke | My opinions are my own.
