What difference will the lack of a FPU and PMMU on the Mac LC have? What does not having the PMMU do? What effect will not having a FPU have on non-math-intensive programs (word processing, finder, desktop publishing)? Could you add either of these to the LC after purchase? (It's Oct. 15 so I figure someone will have an answer for that) And is the 16 MHz 68020 no FPU no PMMU to 20 MHz 68030 FPU PMMU jump worth the $2499 --> $3700 jump in price? It seems the FPU and PMMU and 68030 have a lot to offer considering they alone costs $1200. Thanks. -- John H.
