The prices for the Mac Classic 2/40 so far are:

U. of Manitoba        $1745
U. of Waterloo        $1727
U. of Toronto         $1899
York University       $1919

Aside from grumbling about the Canada/U.S. price differential (love that
Free Trade) what gives with the wide swing in Canadian prices?
