I'm looking for other FoxBase+/Mac developers with similar or dissimilar experiences to ours. Please drop me a note if this situation sounds familiar, or if you would like more details. Environment: FoxBase+/Mac Multi-User, Version 2.01 (most recent release.) Ethernet-based AppleTalk net with Mac SE/30 file servers Mac II clients running 6.0.5 with Apple ethernet cards 4-10 users adding, updating & deleting records from a FoxBase database system. Tables run from 400 to 10000 records. With version 2.0, we have experienced crashes (esp. with the report writer) and slow performance, but no major data losses. When we updated to the production release of FoxBase, 2.01, we started getting major index corruption, almost hourly. Some simple testing in a 5-user system indicates that the new version of FoxBase cannot maintain clean indexes ina multi-user environment (or not for us at least.) I am looking for other users' experiences. Please write me (or post, if you prefer) regarding any similar or contradictory experiences, esp. if you are using FoxBase 2.01 in a multiuser environment. Thanks for your time & comments. I will post a response on the net summarizing the feedback. -- Bill Douglass, TCADA "I dreamed I was to take a test, in a Dairy Queen, on another planet." L. Anderson
