Just for information, here are Mac IISi price at UCSD.
Mac II Si  2/40    -> 2,575
13"" color         ->   705
Standard Kbd       ->    90

At the computer retail shop (Sun computers) at San Diego
3,599 - 250 Apple rebate (why Apple gives rebate?).

I think UCSD computer store pays high rent Huhhhh?
