[comp.sys.mac.misc] Summary: Screen dumper that can dump menus

tgl@g.gp.cs.cmu.edu (Tom Lane) (11/05/90)

I asked:

I received recommendations for a CDEV called Flash-It and a DA called
Camera. Both are available from the sumex archives; both seem to do the
job. Camera insisted on putting its screen-dump file into the System
folder, which I found irritating; also, one person told me that Camera
crashes on Mac IIs. Flash-It is shareware ($15), but is more flexible
and seems the better choice.

I also received recommendations for two commercial products: Snapjot from
Wildflower Software, and Capture from Mainstay. I'm happy with Flash-It
so have not investigated either.

Many thanks to the respondents.
