[comp.sys.mac.misc] GIF viewers for the mac

tim@asylum.SF.CA.US (Tim Reynolds) (10/26/90)

I understand there are GIF viewers available for Apple Macintosh
computers. Will these work on non-color machines (SE/30)? and if so
can anyone tell me where I might find one.

Well, I'm not sure where to look, but GIFConverter runs quite happily on both
B/W and color Macs; I have it installed on my SE, and also use it on a first-
generation (!) Mac II and a brand-spanking-new Mac IIfx. (Systems range from
6.0.3 to 6.0.5).

sumex-aim has it. (36.44.0.6) It's in info-mac/util/

   "Canada could have had the culture of France,
        the entrepreneurial spirit of the United States,
            and the British tradition of tolerance;
    instead it got the culture of the United States,
        the entrepreneurial spirit of Britain, and
            the French tradition of tolerance..."
