I'm posting this for a friend whose network connection is down. Please send replies to zhong@cardinal.lanl.gov. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I tried to use the standard MPW Print tool to print a postscript file. I made a blank page file called 'blankpage'. I made the following postscript file: __________________ %! /Times-Roman findfont 24 scalefont setfont 160 570 moveto (This is a test) show showpage ___________________ I typed "print blankpage -ps test.ps" and pressed the enter key. Nothing happend. If I dropped the line of "showpage" in the postscript file, the blankpage was printed out but no postscript file. When I use SendPS to print test.ps, it was printed out fine. BTW, there is a print window in the MPW manual with all the options. How do I invoke the window? The reason that I want to print a postsript file from MPW shell is to build a jobstream using scripts. I was suggested to use a MPW tool called DumpPS, but I do not know where to find it. Thanks in advance for any help. Fang
