Last January 6, a person from Rutgers named Eugene Bradley posted a note to comp.sys.mac about Macintosh software and hardware being available for good prices at government auctions. In that note he gave a phone number of 1-800-448-5570 to call for information. I saved the note for future reference, and just tried to call that number today. I got a recorded message that said, "You have dialed a number that is not available from your calling area." My question is this: Is there a different number that a person in Colorado must use? I would guess there is; I've seen many a toll-free phone number of the form "1-800-xxx-xxxx or, in <home state>, 1-800-xxx-xxxx>". Does anyone know what that number is for Coloradoans? Or has the number changed in the last 11 months? If someone from elsewhere in the U.S. is able to call the number above and ask the people on the other end what the Colorado number is, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.
