[ edited and redirected to comp.sys.mac.misc by ---Werner, CSMA-moderator ] Creating TeachText readme files containing Pictures in the past was something most people didn't like to do. Moreover many people didn't even know how to do it. It was a complex task, juggling resources, using ResEdit. So there weren't too many TeachText files with Pictures about. And yet, TeachText is an ideal instrument for readme documents and online-manuals of all kinds: it launches quickly, uses little memory and above all: everybody's got it. So I decided to write an application to create TeachText files as easily as it is to create a MacWrite document, using cut&paste-like commands. The result was: TeachTextMaker (TTM). TeachTextMaker is $15 shareware. Version 1.0 is available at SUMEX-aim.stanford.edu for FTP as: info-mac/app/teach-text-maker.hqx [ Version 1.1 is in the distribution queue for archival at SUMEX and RASCAL as well as distribution on comp.binaries.mac. ---Werner ] Karl Pottie (Belgium) -------------------- GHGAQA0@Blekul11.BITNET GHGAQA0@cc1.kuleuven.ac.be
