Looks like once again I am in need of help in assembler. I teach a course in assembler that uses the Mac for their programs. They have a final project due and already I am getting some rather creative and ambitious applications to write in assembler. Anyway one of them requires them to be able to know where the Mac's drawing cursor is. They know that the drawing cursor is automatically advanced after a string is printed to the screen but they would like to know where it has advanced to. Any ideas? I.e. is there an a-line trap that can be called to invoke one of the os' routines? Thanx in advance.
