HI, The subject line says it all. How do I decode .PIT files. What software
do people recommend. Thanks all!

Chances are you have the only tool you need:  Like almost every other   
MacProblem, StuffIt is the answer.  In 1.5.1, UnPack File... is under the
Other menu, and I belive most other version (including Deluxe) have UnPacking
hidden somewhere...
