I have a MAC problem and I hope this is the right place to post it. We have a MAC SE with an external hard drive. The machine boots up fine but we get the "Welcome To MacIntosh" logo as the background. It's similar to what a former employee did here when he put his girlfriends picture on as his background. My question is, how does one get rid of this background logo. I took out nearly everything from the system folder but the logo still remains. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Trash the System Folder from the HD. 3. Launch Installer and re-install a fresh system. 4. Reboot to find no background screen. chaz -- Someone please release me from this trance. clarson@ux.acs.umn.edu AOL:Crowbone
