Hello, I have a question which has been discussed (at least partially) already, but the software environment is changing fast, so once again: I am interested in opinions on / experiences with running a Mac lab. Specifically how do you keep the harddisks in a workable state. Two possibilities come to mind: - lock (parts of) the disks with some utility. But what are the implications (eg. locking the system folder would propably break a number of programs) ? - Provide a clean copy of the important folders on a fileserver. Any comments are welcome.
