I recently posted a note asking how to use Facade. As it turns out, the very short file of instructions that goes with Facade and FacadeIcons, the two files on sumex, was left off. I received many replies to my query, but received almost as many notes from people asking me to send them the instructions, so I decided to post it also. Use ResEdit to look at the icons in FacadeIcons. Choose the one you want, and in the Get Info box, change the name of the icon to that of your hard disk. Save the file and re-boot. Alternately, change the name of your hard disk to that of one of the icons in Facade Icons. Re-boot. Once you restart your machine, your hard disk will start using the new icon. Of course, both files (Facade and Facade Icons) must be in your system folder.
