I'm experiencing difficulties with my new Mac IIsi, specifically that the machine won't boot unless the external 20MB hard drive I've plugged into the back is powered up beforehand. This is annoying as I don't always need access to the drive and boot off my internal. I've got a Mac SE at work with an external 20MB disk that doesn't need to be powered up for the machine to start - does anyone have any suggestions as to why my computer at home insists that the external be powered up? Internal is SCSI 0, external is SCSI 3. -- cdelay@cie.uoregon.edu
