There have been several questions about video cards for the se/30 lately, but none that I saw asked for this, so I will now. I need (or rather a professor of mine needs) a video card for the SE/30 that will support both (not simulatneously of course) an Apple 13" color display and an Apple (or some other brand) Full Page Display (portrait). This is what I know so far: Rasterops: No good. The closest is the 108 which supports several modes but none is for a portrait monitor. Also, this card is no longer being sold separately anyway, only bundeled with a monitor (though they said I might be able to find one mail order somewhere). Micron: No good. There SE/30 cards are single resolution. Only the Mac II card supports multiple monitor standards (and I'm not sure that the portrait is supported by that one anyway). Lapis: Closest but still no cigar. The DisplayServer SE/30 supports both these monitors (plus about a hundred other standards) but it is monochrome only. I want 8-bit color on the 13" monitor. They are said to be working on a color card and are aiming for a january release, but it doesnt sound like that's that realistic since the person I spoke to said it hadnt even been decided what monitors/modes would be supported. They didn't know if the apple portrait would be suported. So, does anyone out there know of a monitor that meets my professor's needs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
