From time to time, my printer seems to disappear from the
chooser, making it impossible to print. It happens whether
the printer is connected directly to my Mac or if it is
connected to the network. The bizarre thing is that sometimes,
when my laserwriter is connected to the network, all the other
printers on the network show up on the chooser, but mine does
not. To cure the problem, I connected the printer directly,
but the problem still occurs from time to time. I'm stumped.
I am using:
MacIIcx
5 megs RAM
40 meg HD
E-Machines Pig Picture 21" mono screen
system 6.0.7
usually under MultiFinder
Laserwriter II NTX
(laserprep v5.2)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
