I currently work with a group of people doing research in magnetics and optical storage media. As such, we have some interesting software needs. The one the I pose to you is the following: Is there a Mac program which, given a spectrum strip in some numerical form, can analyze that strip, returning the optical properties of the medium and the Thickness of the medium? We have all the math necessary to do this, but really don't want to code it from scratch if we don't have to. Please Email responses to the address below.
