Does anyone out there know of any file utilities that will allow one to append and/or prepend text files to one another? I know a simple editor can do it if one is willing to do the command-a, command-c, click, scroll, command-v sequence, but it would be nicer to be able to do it more automatically. There exists a tiny (4K) such utility called Append.1 that does just that to text files. I believe it's shareware or PD, so is probably available around. I forget the author's name. The user-interface kinda sucks, but it's "hot, fast, and cheap." Den | Dennis M.
