Does anyone know of a utility that will defragment a file, that is, ensure that the file is stored contiguously, perhaps by shuffling other things around. DiskExpress, for example, wants to do this to every file on a hard disk (and so takes a lot of time). The other kind of utility I know about, like SUM HD Tuneup, quickly defragments as many files as it can, but there is no guarantee that the file you care about will end up defragmented. Thanks for any help Hector Levesque csli.stanford.edu
