I'd appreciate hearing from anybody who is currently making slides for presentations using a Macintosh. We want to set up a facility to be able to make color 35mm slides (and maybe other media as well) from graphics done on the Macintosh using Dreams, MicroSoft Word, Kaliedagraph, Igor, CricketGraph, etc. A networked PostScript device that can be printed to using a chooser-selectable driver would be ideal. I know about send-out slide making services, but we'd really like to be able to do it in-house. Most of the systems I've seen are either terribly limited or horribly expensive. We want to be able to bring something like a II-ci, with 16-19" 8-bit color display and the slide maker in all for something like $10-15k. -- Roy Smith, Public Health Research Institute 455 First Avenue, New York, NY 10016 roy@alanine.phri.nyu.edu -OR- {att,cmcl2,rutgers,hombre}!phri!roy "Arcane?
