I tried to install system 6.0.7 on an SE with no luck. The installer complained about my hard disk, and said that it was not useable as a startup disk. Anybody have this problem and know what to do about it? I decided to use the Finder that came with 6.0.7 anyway. It works fine with system 6.0.3. And I was pleased to find a new (I think) feature: if you option-double-click a folder in the Finder, it not only opens the folder, but closes its parent. (The parent can be reopened by double-clicking the title-bar, as usual.) Very nice for reducing window clutter on small screens. I tried to see if there was a way to go from a window to its parent, closing it at the same time (like maybe option-double-clicking the title bar), but no dice. Anybody found a way of doing this or any other new Finder shortcuts? Hector Levesque csli.stanford.edu
