PageMaker doesn't provide background printing to a LaserWriter because their own prep-file (Aldus prep), correct?. Are there any other reasons? Tested: A document containing many scanned images (about 30) and some text. When printing from PageMaker via a print-buffer (EtherShare from Helios Software and Apples print-buffer) the printfile generates the PostScript error: Error: Limitcheck. Offending command: save. The same document works all right when not printed via the print-buffer. What really does PageMaker do, when connected to the LaserWriter? Is there some kind of interactive printing control? A way around this might be to save the output as a PostScript file and then download this to the print-buffer. BUT, now you only get A4-size! So if you send a tabloid format formatted PostScript file to a LinoType the page will be clipped within A4-size. Is there another (better) way around this? +------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | Anders Ulfheden | USENET: ulfis@nada.kth.se | Royal Institute of Technology | Stockholm, Sweden -- +------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | Anders Ulfheden | USENET: ulfis@nada.kth.se | Royal Institute of Technology
