A friend has an SE/30 and a LJ II. The prices for Adobe's PostScript cartridge is pretty good now, and memory is reasonably cheap. The problem is how can the Mac be connected to the LJ and how do you drive the cartridge? Is a serial connection fast enough, or would AppleTalk be preferable (if there even is such a conversion for the LJ II)? Assuming a serial connection is okay, how would you print to it? The standard Apple LaserWriter driver? If anyone has any experience, please send mail. I will summarize. -- \ oo The New Number Who, \____|\mm Jeff Okamoto //_//\ \_\ HP Corporate Computing & Services /K-9/ \/_/ okamoto@ranma.corp.hp.com /___/_____\ ----------- (415) 857-6236
