I have a Mac LC with an Apple high-res 13" monitor. I really like the LC+color compared to the Plus that I had. BUT, I am having a problem with the color monitor. The problem is that black pixels are not black. For example, when I shutdown and get the "It's OK to turn off the computer" message. The rest of the screen SHOULD BE pitch black, but isn't. I have set the contrast control to its lowest position and brightness to about the middle. What is the problem here? I have seen this problem on Mac II's also. Is the gain too high on the monitor?? Is this a cable problem? I've tried another cable, but no difference. OR, is this a hardware problem? What worries me is that the problem seems to be getting worse (or may be it's just me). Any enlightment will be greatly appreciated. As usual thanks in advance. =Mike -- = Michael K.
