I agree!  Let's all swamp the media with letters and phone calls
protesting their use of the word "hacker" in a derogatory way!

I agree also!!! if the media had connections to usenet, they would have received
suc a roasting in net.flames that dan rather would have reported on the nightly
news (or is that evening news?).

Better yet -- let's all break into the computers used by the media
(whoever they are) and have them change all occurrences of "hacker"
to "brat".....
