I would like to know what benchmark methods or tools are used when evaluating new Macintoshes. I imagine there are other PC Support departments that have Usenet access, that are always evaluating new systems. I am concerned with results from tests conducted on the processor, disk, and co-processor. I would also be interested in any PD applications that can generate configurations of systems being evaluated. I've looked at an older version of MacSpeed from Scott Berfield (and Think Technologies), but it doesn't reconize any of the new Macintosh systems and some of the features. Thank You.
