Boy, did they come unglued over my use of the word "socialized!"
There's more than one meaning for "socialized, but
obviously there are no sociologists out there on the net,
in the vast sea of experts on law, government, and human affairs.
(Hmmmmm... maybe we're better off.)  Most of us are socialized in
the sociological sense by age 4, long before Teddy & Co. get a
chance to try socializing us in the political sense.  (Actually,
the two senses do not deviate much in my opinion, but...)
And then, there`s a few of us who never really seem to get
socialized, but fortunately they are few enough that we can gang
up on them... most of the time... when we can find them.
