Hi, I am in desperate need of help ..... I have a LaserStor WORM drive that was previously installed on a Mac-II but now want to use it on a Mac-IIfx. I have installed the driver software on the fx, and the WORM diagnostic software had no trouble accessing the drive, but the other WORM programs can't ... they produce an error message similar to "driver software not installed or drive not installed correctly." The driver is by Corel and is version 1.11a (1988). If you can help me in anyway, please mail me ... I desperately need to get the WORM working on the fx. I suppose the drive is connected to the SCSI port.
Is the drive by any chance internally terminated?
If so, remove the internal termination and use the
special external (black) terminator supplied with the
II fx.
