I recently posted the following offer: >Two weeks ago I bought a copy of SoftPC (version 1.3) so that my wife >could do her Lotus 123 work at home on our Mac IIsi. As of last week, >my wife's responsibilities have changed at work and she does not use >123 anymore. Since I bought SoftPC to support her, I no longer need it. >$195 (plus shipping) gets you all the original disks and the manual as >well as the unused registration card. This stuff has only been out of >the box for two weeks. >As for the SoftPC emulation, it works perfectly on my IIsi. I've run >Lotus 123 and Norton Utilities with no problems whatsoever. Insignia >has done a great job with this one and I'd keep it if I needed it. >For reference, SoftPC retails for $399 and the going mail order price >is $245 (that's what I got it for). I'm asking $195 plus shipping. I had a few inquiries, but it didn't sell at my asking price. So.... I've reduced the price of SoftPC to $165 and I pay shipping - that's $80 less than you can get it from the mail order houses. Keep in mind that SoftPC performs XT/CGA emulation (which suited my needs just fine). If you need AT or EGA emulation, you'll also need to buy the AT/EGA module (mail order price of about $125). -- Kevin Hansel engcon!hansel@uunet.UU.NET or hansel@engcon.UUCP
