My employer is looking at generating reports on a high speed 24pin dot matrix printer (specifically Fujitsu DL5600) that is Epson compatible. We have a few postscript printers but they take too much time to generate these simple reports. Would hooking up the dot matrix increase the speed in printing these reports? What is involved in hooking up the printer to the Mac, are there any special drivers that must be loaded? If so, are they shareware or does anyone know where to get them?
