I asked the author of Boomerang if one could still register Boomerang 2.0 and get a copy of Super Boomerang. His reply follows... -- Russell (a Super Boomerang enthusiast) -------------------- From: IN%"hayp04@LBL.BITNET" 25-JAN-1991 11:33:36.08 To: owen@phast.phys.washington.edu CC: Subj: Boomer (...header deleted...) Hello Owen, Thank you very much for your mail to CIS about Super Boomerang. Yes, we still accept the registration for Boomerang, $30/user. I would like to make the situation clear. If one sends us the registration fee for Boomerang, he/she will receive a copy of Super Boomerang. The updater of Super Boomerang will be posted on major networks, CIS, AOL, GEnie, AppleLink etc. Around August, next major upgrade will be released, and I am not sure if any updater for that major upgrade will be posted on the networks or not. If the updater will not be posted on the networks, only the registered users of Now Utilities will receive the new version of Now Utilities 3.0, which includes Super Boomerang 3.0, from Now Software. Knowing this situation, and if anyone is still interesting to get a copy of SuperBoomerang, we are more than happy to receive the registration fee. As to the version of SB, 2.0.3 is the latest public release, and the updaters are available from major networks, CIS, AOL, GEnie, AppleLink, and may be somewhere else, but I am not sure. If you cannot get access to these networks please let me know. I will E-mail you a copy of updater to 2.0.3. Thank you again for your mail and for the support of Boomerang. Hiro
