[comp.sys.mac.misc] NCSA Telnet and SLIP

Has anyone heard of a SLIP version of NCSA telnet for the Mac? I
have heard it mentioned, but it was not clear wether it was for
the Mac or the PC. Any help is appreciated.

There is a program called TCP/CONNECT II which does telnet, ftp, mail,
netnews, finger, and whois over Ethernet, Appletalk, and SLIP. We
tested it here and the SLIP implementation worked very well, we were
able to telnet multiple sessions, and ftp, but did not have the time to
try out any of the other features.
