I have an upgraded Macintosh II CPU to sell. It's a full-fledged Macintosh IIfx motherboard with 8MB of "True Apple RAM (IIfx RAM)" on board, 2 Apple internal FDHD drives, and an internal Apple Hard Disk 160SC. The machine has been used for several months with no problems. It still is housed in a Macintosh II case (old) and contains the old "noisy" Macintosh II power supply. Comes with an AppleColor Hi-Resolution RGB Monitor and Extended 8-Bit video card (256 simultaneous colors out of a palette of 16.8 million). Runs @ 40MHz with a 68030/68882. Have used it to test alphas/betas of System 7.0 Would like to sell to afford a NeXT system; I do love this system, but want something "newer and more exciting." Currently running 7.0b3; I will have to "nuke" the contents of the hard disk in accordance w/ confidentiality & copyright laws. No mechanical problems/logical problems. Case has small chip on right hand side (bad shipping via UPS). Asking $9000 or best offer. Please email replies to: Steve Klingsporn klingspo@holst.cs.colostate.edu or MuFe@CSUGREEN.BITNET .
