[comp.sys.mac.misc] NeXT Computers

I'm not all that familiar with the NeXT so I casually picked up NeXT WORLD. I
just would like to know why would someone put out $5000 to get a "low-end"
NeXT with a 105MB hard drive that has a "trimmed down" operating system taking
up 70MB of it! Also, the NeXT would be a much better machine if anyone
produced software for it that people had heard of (aside from Lotus). I'm not
saying down with NeXT and Macintosh forever, but, let's see a really good
Macintosh emulator and a lighter monitor (70 pounds!!!!) and a "real" OS (70
megabytes!!!!????) and then we'll see if it's worth the 5000.

Please read some of my previous postings. You obviously need to read
more about the NeXT. Unfortunately, I'm getting tired of writing
about it. You guys just keep coming.
