For those of you who do not know this already, a friend of mine (Tim Waire) just let me know about the FTP site that holds the Archives of comp.binaries.mac. This is important, just recently, to me because one part of a hypercard stack out of 11 did not make it to my mailer. I was able to retrieve it from this site: irisa.irisa.fr under the News directory - caution, once in to the correct directory (ie comp.binaries.mac) get the 'index' file without getting a directory as that takes FOREVER! and find the number of the file you want to FTP. ANyway, I hope this helps some people out, and thanx to Tim Waire for the help! He loves good press! Also, I believe that rascal.ics.utexas.edu has a directory under the /mac
heirarchy called "comp.binaries.mac", which would suggest that the moderator
there is also archiving that group.
(For those of you who were looking for a US-based site....)
