I'm sorry if this was just discussed and I missed it, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good B/W scanner for the Mac that they have used. My wife needs to choose one for her workplace, and they all have Mac +'s, SE's and Classics, so don't need greyscale or color features. Also, if you have used a scanner you like, how much memory do scanned documents need (per page)? All of the machines have 1Mb, but they are willing to upgrade if they need more memory to use scanning well. I think they may want switchable resolution (100-400 dpi is one I have seen). Is this useful? Does anyone ever use low resolution to save memory space? Thanks in advance for any advice you have to offer. If you want to post replies, I will read this group for at least a few days, so I won't miss it (in other words, don't feel you have to send e-mail). --William Hooper Motorola, Inc.
