I recently discovered that StuffIt Deluxe doesn't save and restore the Finder
flags for applications. The bundle bit is the most noticeable but the
shared bit is not set correctly either. Am I doing something wrong?
I've tested four different applications on my Mac IIcx with System 6.0.5.
I have disabled all INITs and CDEVs during testing. No virus prevention
tools are on. I've tried Optimal and Better compression and both do the
same thing. I've also tried this with both versions 1.01 and 2.01.
I find it hard to believe that a bug this obvious could exist for this long.
What's happening?
