I have tendonitis from typing and would like to get a more ergonomic keyboard for my Mac. I'd like one that has a lighter touch and "clickier" keys, like an IBM Selectric typewriter. Does anyone out there know of one? A number of you responded to my query. Here's a brief summary. The main keyboard recommendation was the DataDesk Switchboard, a keyboard with interchangeable layout (you can put the number pad on the left, for example) and Alps mechanical "clicky" keyswitches, which offer a mechanical breakover which gives tactile feedback, as well as fairly low actuation force. I ended up buying one, and like it. Other keyboards include a Northgate Mac keyboard, which is currently a closeout item (they've discontinued it.) and Keytronics. I don't have specific information on either of these. Other recommendations included taking care to properly adjust the workstation ergonomics and to use a padded wrist rest. I've got a wrist rest from Fox Bay Industries in Kent, Washington, and it helps some, but it's nothing to write home about. Thanks, Dave Ringoen
