[comp.sys.mac.misc] MACIICX NTSC video

dmc@dynamo.ecn.purdue.edu (David M Chelberg) (02/27/91)

I am trying to do some in-class demos over a TV network (I am
currently teaching an AI class being broadcast). I would like to use
a MACIICX to generate a compatible TV signal. I have the MAC II video
card utility from Apple with the 32bit quickdraw init, but the dialog
for choosing NTSC mode does not come up. I have tried this after
removing all other inits from the system, and it still didn't work.
It does seem to work just fine on a MACIIX however. Does anyone have
any hints? Is there a newer version of this init?

By the way on the IIX System 6.03, on the IICX 6.05. It also
apparently works on the IIX in System 6.05, and with the Kanji system.
My problem is that in the TV Classroom we only have a IICX, and it is
rather difficult to move a IIX in.

Thanks,
