In-Reply-To: message from Dan.Shearer@levels.sait.edu.au | Is there any way of getting an Apple Mac portable to produce colour | output on an external monitor? Yes, with the addition of a rather spendy device that yields only 8 colors. The product is called something like "Scuzzygraph". I saw the product demo'd at MacWorld. It gives color to B&W Macs. That is about all you can say for it. If you want more info on it, I'll dig it up. I was not impressed with the device (due to the lack of colors). If I recall correctly, the whole set up with monitor ran around $1,300. Somehow it interprets Color Quickdraw commands and routes them out the you know what port on the back. The output reminded me an awful lot of Apple II quality (and I don't mean IIgs). ---- ProLine: mmcnew@pro-odyssey Monty S. It looks like an external HD and allows both the Portable and SE/Plus/Classic machines to have a (16?) colour monitor. Please mail me for more details.
