[comp.sys.mac.misc] How to unpack systemfiles from ftp.apple.com

delann@cs.umu.se (Anders Nyman) (02/28/91)

After transfering system 6.0.7 from ftp.apple.com and decoded the binhex file
I discovered files like utilities.image. Could someone tell me how to unpack
this file.

These are disk image files. You unpack them (each one goes onto one 800K
disk) using the program DiskCopy, also available from Apple FTP sites. I
got my copy at apple.com, rather than ftp.apple.com.

You can unpack the "image" files with DiskCopy 4.1, available from
apple.com.
