My SO is taking a data structures class in Pascal. I purchased a used copy of Turbo Pascal to allow her to do her assignments at home on our Mac II. However, she is now having problems with printing out her assignments. She can get them to run, and she can print out the listings. However, she *cannot* get the program to run and print the output to the printer! At least, not completely. The program will (if I understand correctly) print up to a page and then hang, or will wait for input and then quit rather than continuing. This is Turbo Pascal Version 1.1. My questions are, does anyone know what might be the problem? If the problem is fixed in a newer version, what is the newest version? Is there a way to get the newest version? I heard that Borland was abandoning Turbo Pascal for the Mac. Is this true? If so, I would feel no compunctions about grabbing the latest version in whatever way I could. We do *not* want to spend the money to buy Lightspeed (Think?) Pascal since we *have* their version of C, and so the only time we'd use the Pascal is for this one class. We just don't want to (can't) spend that much money. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My peace of mind is at stake!
