Anyone have information on the sumex-aim.stanford.edu ftp archive? I
tried all day yesterday to get access and each time I was told that
all 25 connections were in use and to try again later. This even
happened at 2:30am this morning! Then today (3/6/91) I l finally get
access, and I go to the info-mac/init directory because I want to
download two files, grouch.hqx and spinit.hqx, and when I type the
ftp command
get grouch.hqx
I get
grouch.hqx: permission denied.
I checked the permissions on the file and it was set to
-rw-r--r--
so I should have had read access. So I tried to get other files
besides the two that I really wanted, and each time I got the
permission denied message.
So my major question is: What's going on up there?
and my minor question: Does anyone have those two file who would be
willing to send them to me?
